my five yr old becomes very aggresive(aggressive)

i am a farther of a five yr old boy who becomes very aggresive (aggressive) to anyone who is around at the time, it can just happen over almost any thing ie getting changed.leaving swimming pool, having to go to school, and when he goes into one nothing will calm him down i try to talk in a calm and positive manner but everything i try does not work.i have only just been reintroduced to him after three years in court my ex partner has compleatly turned around basically because she cannot control him herself. it has got to the point where his school is now thretningto expell him.my ex partner has said that she is willing to try anything.do you know of any organisation that might be able to help.we live in cardiff in south wales
