my son is 8yrs old and still is bedwetting at night time

please i need help from some one i don't know what else to do i've tryed stoping the drinks after 6pm at night, also tried taking the most things he likes, punishing him waking him up every 2hrs through out the night i've tryed medicating him with medication to stop him urinating on himself and yet i see no diference in his night time bedwetting please i ask for some help or opinons on what can i do .................ps concerned mom

My son went through the same thing.  Finally, at age nine, we found a company that helps with this sleep disorder.  Yes this can be a sleep disorder.  Punishment and privilidges don't help.  You can find out more about this on the web site: www.enuresiscontrolclinic.com  It is quite expensive, but they let you pay it out.  They train you to wake up when your bladder is full.  Their work is guaranteed.  I think it took a couple of months to be completely free of this problem.

i agree...people dont really control their bladder while they sleep so punishment is wrong..
