my step son taking my underwear

I have a 13 year old stepson, a 18 year old step daughter and a 11 month old. We have been living together for about 8 years. Their mom is not in the picture since she passed away way before I met them. I was about to put my stepsons laundry away and I found my victorias secret magazines, pictures of half naked women and some of my underwear and under shirts with them. I told my husband and he told me in a way its kind of normal. I feel that my privacy was invaded. I feel ashamed and i can't really be around him. I don't know how long this has been going on for and I fear for my 11 month old. I am just verry confussed and don't know what to make of it, please help

I don't think it's too much of a big deal. He's a boy who's coming into puberty and is curious. But i would just have a talk with him(or have your husband do it as it may be more comfortable for your stepson) about taking your underthings. Your stepson needs to understand that taking them is not ok. But the magazines and everything are pretty much normal for a 13 yo boy.

I'm very confused about one of your comments. Why do you fear for your 11 month old??? You have absolutely no need to fear for the 11 month old in any way! There's is nothing abnormal with what your stepson did and i doubt there is any risk to your 11 month old in any way. Your stepson is going through a normal puberty phase and there's nothing crazy about what he did. You just need to tell him to stay out of your drawers. But i think you may just be taking it a little overboard with the comment about the 11 month old because your stepson is acting like any normal 13 yo boy will.

There's no reason to fear for your kids. All of this is very normal, but you should tell him it's not okay to take your things, period. If it makes you very uncomfortable, ask your husband to tell him.

I understand that it's very awkward for you to find something like that, especially of YOURS, but he's just being a normal boy. Still, it isn't cool to steal your underpants, or ANYONE'S, and he needs to be told that.
