nine year old daughter cries when she has to go to school

I have a nine year old daughter who cries constantly for my ex-husband and cries for me when she has to go to school. She's fine when I leave for work ( I work 5pm till 8:30 pm) but is awful about going to school especially on Mondays. She just experienced me getting remarried in December and then her father got remarried in March. I understand this can be a stressful time for her but her father and I are always there for her and she lives with me 60 percent and her dad 40 percent. She says she misses us but we're always there for her. We have been divorced for two years now and everything is going well aside from this.He and I are even getting along better than when we were married for the kids. I am just beside myself with all of this. The school doesn't help much and my daughter is teased by other kids when she goes in upset. I need help!

I completely understand, my son is roughl the same age/grade and I too am beside myself trying to resolve this problem.  My son cries when he has to go to school, not just at school. I feel your pain and wish we both find answers and our sanity

I am sure it is a combo of many things, you getting remarried, being away from you, being teased at school never helps. I would talk to the teacher about it and see if she can get the students to tease less, but you know how kids are!
