pencil mark in skin

My 2 year old fell with a pencil and it went in his skin, the black left from the pencil is still in the wound and won't come out. Is there potential poisoning and also how do I clean it out we have tried everything.

I was helping carry a table when I was in fifth grade and accidently poked myself in the leg. I went to the school nurse and she cleansed it, told me that I would have a mark there, and sent me back to class.

I'm now 37 years old, and there is still a pencil lead mark, but besides that, I've been fine.

I really don't think you have anything to worry about.

when i was in 6th grade, i was running with a pencil in my sock, well i ended up falling & getting the pencil led in my leg.
i am now 30 nyrs old &* still can very faintly see where it is, but i have never felt sick from it.
i just look at it as one of my growing up stories, lol.
