i am having another problem now. my daughter is now afraid of her own poopoo. she goes number two and looks in the toilet halfway done and sees the poopoo and starts getting scared of it . yelling oh no! and she wont continue. she stops and wants down. what do i do?
now she tries to hold both of them. number one and number two as long as she can. she hasnt pooped for two days and peeing , she holds it a looong time even though she tells me once in a while that she has to go, but when i say ok, get up then and she says no bathroom. but she wotn pee herself for antyhing. she has no accidnets, but she holds it all as long as she can. the peeing, i am not worried about cause she can hold it as long as she wants, she eventually gotta go pee. but the number two, its bad to hold.
It seems like this potty training she's done has completely hamstrung the routineRoutine sputum culture of the household - what would happen if you ignored her constant bathroom difficulties? It seems like she is getting attention 24/7 for her bathroom habits, from begging to get up all during nap time, to begging to get up all night long, to now refusing to go and holding it and cryingColic and crying Crying in infancy that she's afraid of poop.
What would happen if the bathroom were available to her but you just ignore her until she actually needs to be wiped? This seems to be spiraling out of controlControl Control rx in just a short amount of time.
maybe i blew it otu of porpotion. once shes asleep, she doesnt wake up to pee or anything. she goes in her diaper i guess. but daytimeDaytime cold Daytime cold & flu relief Daytime liquicap, i igore her. i dotn ask her to go bathroom. once ever hour or so , she says poopoo mommy. i know she has to go to the bathroom, but because she hates sitting on the toilet, she doesnt want to go in to the bathroom and would rather hold it, so when i see she doesnt want to go, i go about doing my thing until she asks again and cant hold it any longer. i knwo she cant hold it too much longer when she holds on her privates over her pants and screams poopoo! and i go into the bathroom and tell her hurry and come. she comes in , wants to go, but hates the toilet for some reason and would rather hold it longer. but other than that, no problem. since she refuses to pee herself , she has learned that bathroom is where to go..ever since she learned this, i cant let her go back to peeing herself. its been 6 days now with no accidents. and sometimes, she holds it for two hours.
and she finally goes to the bathroom. make any sense? iguess i just have to figure out a way to make the toilet not as scary.
Take her to the store and let her pick out some fun stickers and take them back home and let her "decorate" it. We did this with my neice and she chose barbie stickers, after that, the toilet wasn't so scary.
My son pees in the potty all the time..He wears underwear all day (including naptime) except for bedtime.... but will not go poop in the potty at all either! He cries for his diaper. When I tell him "no, go to the potty!"
I wish you well, this seems like it's become very very complicated.

He starts crying and won't do it. I've even let him hold on to me sometimes when I get him to sit on the potty to poop, but after 15 minutes of holding him and telling him it's okay...he says he can't go doo doo in the potty. I try to tell him the doo doo wants to go swimming and have a party and that the doo doo wants to be with its family and that little story doesnt work either!!
He'll hold it until he gets that diaper. sometimes for days at a time, so I usually just give hiim the diaper so he won't get backed up.
