potty training need help

hi new to this site but i have a question on potty training a little boy i have two older daughters how were train by the time they were a year and a half and my son is now 3 he will pee some times ok not that often i have tried cheerios in the toilet i have let him stay in wet pants not for the hole day just for a couple of min he doesnt care and he is now refusing to were underwear what can i do to get him to go or is he just not ready yet or what any help would be great i would really like him trained before the new baby comes in 7 months

hi , i would advise you buy a pee pot that has a nice design or something that would make him comfortable in peeing and put it somewhere close to his bedroom in that way he would not need to go out to the bathroom in case he needs to. i got this info at http://www.besthealthoptions.com. check it out yourself. good day!

My son would have bm's in the potty from the time he was 1 yr old. Peeing in it was another story. He told his pediatrician at his 3 yr old check up when she asked him why he didn't pee in the potty, "It just upsets me". I wanted to laugh so hard at that time, but didn't dare.  He truly was too lazy to. He wanted to play cars without having to be interrupted, or whatever he was doing at the moment.  It was June, so I told him that we were out of Pull-ups and he had to wear big boy underwear.  I took the potty outside and he played on the swingset. Luckily, we didn't have any close neighbors.  He would pee in the potty. Then sometimes we forgot to bring it out and I let him go behind a tree next to the wooded area. (I know that may sound outragious to some, but again, we didn't have any neighbors).  Eventually, he got the hang of it. The cherios games and everything else did not help. Only taking away the pull-ups, and believe me he begged for them. He was three years old.
   He will find out that it is truly not socially acceptible if he doesn't get broke soon. Does he have any play dates that are potty trained boys?  Oh, don't be surprised if he get's broke and then you have the baby and he regresses. This is normal, too. He'll be trying to find his place in the family.

If you can let him run arround with out a  diaper/pull up or undies in the house and then make him go to the bathroom every 20 min to 1/2 hour and see if that will help.  My oldest son trained in a few weeks with a lot of work--my second son we wited until he was a little older and he trained himself by watching brother.  he trained in about two weeks with no accidents since then.  We didn't use a little potty for the second one we just got a ring for the toilet for when he needs to poop.  It works well.
