potty training

Have a four year old girl who WILL NOT go in the potty. She doesn't seem to care if she is wet or dirty. Has a melt down if we want to change her or ask her to go to the potty. Have a a couple of successes of her trying... but she says it doesn't work for her! We have been very patient, but seems we should be able to encourage her some how? When around other four year old girls, she wanted to try, but it only lasted for a day. She says she can't do it!

The doctor says there is nothing wrong, but it sure seems she is way behind in this development. She just refuses go try or go. She was 4 in September.

I am going through the same thing with my daughter she will be 4 in November. I know how hard it can be.
