pulling hair and eatting

My 3month old baby girl pulls her hair wen shes eatting sumtimes wen she smilling playing with me and her dad n shes so talking to us. Why does she do this?

Generally speaking infants (and others) do this as a self-soothing behavior. At her age there is not much to do except to distract her from doing it by having her hands occupied. You might also consider cutting her hair to a length that will make it difficult to do. This may help to interrupt the behavior so it does not become a habit pattern. The condiiton is called trichotillomania.
