shy behaviour

Hi
This is Chaithanya.I have3 year old son named Rithvik.He is very active and obedient kid at home.He is going to preschool.The thing  that iam concerned at this point is he doesnot respond to his teacher.They say he is bit shy.
He is not confident on what he knows.He is able to learn very quickly compared with others. He has some  problem with mingling.Can u suggest anything as to how to improve his mingling.

Many children are shy by temperament. In itself that is not a problem. Just continue to expose him to age typical situations, both in school and outside of school. Shy children develop perfectly well.
