shy kindergardener..help!!

i dont know what im gonna do, my 5 year old is very shy  when people try to talk to him he closes his eyes and puts his head down, untill he gets to know you which that takes him a few weeks. what am i going to do he starts kindergarden in a month.he probly wont even talk to the teacher, also he has not to good speech not many can understand what he says..help?????

There is not much to do about his shyness - it is OK. He'll warm up to people and it's important to let him do this at his pace. You should focus on your reaction and not permit this to get you so upset. There really is nothing to be upset about. Regarding his speech, arrange an evaluation with a speech/language clincian. You can likely arrange this through the school.
