sleeping

I am very concern about my Grandchildren, my daughter lets the 11 boy sleep with his 9 year sister and her.
I have told her that it is not healthy,she just tells me I am old fashion.
The boy has trouble in school.
Am I over reacting?

I think you have a concern ,beacuse of  their age, it would be a good thing for them to have their own beds, does your daughter have a time frame for this,you grandson is 11year old and getting ready for puberty, point this out to your Daughter, I dont think old fashioned is relevant ,maybe not say its unhealthy as lots of Families do sleep together without the sexual overtones ,however he is 11 year old and will want his privacy soon, maybe that is the way to approach it to your daughter.

If my daughter is not home he wants to sleep with me,and I am sorry but I don't agree with that.
I make him sleep in his bed, my daughter gets mad at me for not letting him sleep with me.
I even told him to have a friend over, and he came into my bed,I made him go him back to his room.
He told me he is afraid of the dark,I put a night light in his room, no luck.
The reason I said unhealthy is if one is sick all get sick.

Well you can get sick just being in the same room as them not just in bed , and you are not comfortable with him coming into your bed,  you have a light on, ignore what he says about being afraid maybe he thinks that will get him his own way. Until his Mom takes control it will contiue and if she wants to have him in her Bed theres nothing you can do,you have control over your Bed though. Good Luck

i was going to say that perhaps he needs a light or the radio on low to induce comforting sleep.  at eleven, im sorry, but i agree that sleeping in mommy's bed days are over.

Thank you all for your help, but like you say until my daughter makes him stay in his bed ,there is nothing I can do unless he is with me.
