sleeping

My son is almost 2 months old and every night since I brought him home from the hospital he has been constantly criying all the time. After I feed him and change his diaper he continues to cry.  I've tried holding him but he  cries. I also play with him and he cries. I've tried everything but nothing seems to  work. I've noticed he cries more when he is tired and I'm rocking him  to see if he will stop criying but he keeps himself from not going to sleep and this is through out the day and at night,  He dosen't like to be held or put down because everything I do does not work and cries almost all the time when he's awake. I know he does not have colic because he  passes gas all the time and  on occasion he burps. Please give me any advise you can provide.  What can I do?

To add to margy's post...if you have anyone who can give you a break for a short time, take it.  Sometimes even an hour by yourself can help you get the boost you need to face it again.

Its called Cholic most babies get it, starts around this age and can last for a few months, you can get 'gripe water, its kind of peperminty, but your Doctor will know what to give your child, most Pharmacies carry some  also , Make sure the Baby has got all his ;wind up as that can cause some pain. Sit him on your knee and hold him forward with your hand against his chestpress gently forward this will ease the discomfort. Good luck it will pass .....
