Hi. I have a 2.5 year old. when i was pregant i had all signs of eclampsia. When she was 3 months old the genetic doctor said it sounds like she has iugr. She does somethings she should be but she becomes disruptive around others she is usually decent when just with me but at times acts out uncontrollaby. She is a very sensitive and aggressive child. Day care says she still dumps things and thats on a 2 year old level. she doesnt play well with other children she is nice to others sometimes but mainly is very mean. she doesnt sleep thru the nite and doesnt eat like she should. im wondering if somethin could be wrong with her or if she wil outgrow this stage. I try to discipline her but no matter what i do she doesnt stop. she throws hits and bangs her head on the wall. also at night she does this crazy things with her hand PLEASE HELLPP

The fact that she was diagnosed with IUGR indicates that it is likely she will display developmental disorders on a broad spectrum, and it is not suprising this is occurring. She should be evaluated right now by a developmental pediatrician.

To manage the behavior follow the instructions from Lynn Clark's book SOS Help for Parents (see www.sosprograms.com).
