stepfather and stepson

everytime my back is turned they are at it again,they won't look at each other in the eye, my son will not ask him
for anything coz he think the answer will be no to anything he askes him for. I live in the gargage and my family
in the house,I stress out cause me the mother is not handling it very well.When we have visitors over and my son
wants to see me or talk to me I have to stand outside and talk to him.everything  is all my stepson's fault.

I am sorry this is hard for you, you dont say how old your son is, I do know that it sounds as if your husband is tough on him, if you could give us more scenario to go on would help. How do you mean you have to stand out side to speak to your son, surely it is his house aswell if he is living there. Can you share some more with us as to the dynamics here.
