suddenly withdrawn 5 year old

We moved to a new area last November so my delightfully social 5 year old daughter had to switch schools.  In her other school, she loved going to school, begged to go to school every day, talked about what she did at school constantly, had lots of friends, and played with other kids.  Now after switching schools, she is withdrawn, doesn't play with the other kids, doesn't talk to the other kids, doesn't want to go to school, and won't talk about what she does at school at all.  When I asked her yesterday what she did at school, she burst into tears, got very angry, and yelled at me "Why do you always ask that?!  Why do you always want to know what I do at school?!"  She stormed off with her arms across her little chest and wouldn't talk to me.  I tried again to get her to open up at the dinner table but she still refused.  At first, I thought it was just the transition to the new school, but her behavior is getting more withdrawn and she isn't opening up to anyone.
I went to the school today to talk to her teacher, hoping that she would say my daughter plays well with the other kids and that I was worrying for nothing.  But that wasn't what happened at all.  Her teacher couldn't tell me that she played with other kids or interacted with them at all.  I'm getting quite concerned.  She is(was) a very social child with other kids.  Her teacher is going to take her to talk to the school counselor, but what can I do at home?
At home, she plays well with her brother and sister and acts as she normally does with the exception of she wants to sleep more.  She has always hated going to bed and nap times, but now has a sudden desire to do both.  Is she depressed?  What can I do to help her?

Give her time. Her world has been turned upside down by the move. This is not a little thing for a child, and it will take some adjusting. It's not surprising that her functioning has changed and it is not reasonable to expect that she would be acting like her normal self. In general time does not cure many things, but time will cure this.
