If you had torsion, hoo, boy, honey, you'd know it.  My sister had ovarian torsion and it sent her to the ER in agony.  By the time they did surgery, the ovary had died, so it does not take a long time.  But if torsion was happening for you, you would not be sitting calmly at the computer and asking questions about it.

If something flukey is happening that makes you think of testicular torsion, go see your doc and ask for a consult with a urologist.

I agree with Annie.  

It's hard to mistake a torsion,  and unlikely you could sit and post on a message board.

But to answer your question,  I think there  is a 6 hour window you have to work with before your testicle will be severely damaged from a torsion.
