total communication program?

we have a 2 1\2 yr old girl with a rare language disorder.  w ehave had total language program recommended.  does this usually use st,sigh language, pex and compouters to learn how to talk.  what she has is like word deafness and is also sometimes asoshiated with launden-kleffner syndrome althogh she does have normal eegs.  i have heard of nacd(national association of child development) they are the same group that does the fastforword progam, but they speciallize in programs geared directally to the child.  DO YOU know anything about this company, is it possibly worth teh inital 55o dollar inital evaluation fee,  is it repuatable i believe it is but i dont know any info will be greatlly appreaciated.  do you have any other ideas that could benefit ia child with word deafness even when it comed to diasaplem?
