I have a two year old daughter and she just started doing the same thing to me recently.. =/
She used to go to bed without problem, but for about a week/week and a half now, she FREAKS out the second I lay her down.. She will cry and hold her arms up and want me to hold her and I don't want to give in so I just tell her "Nigh-Night!!" or "Go to Sleep!!" We try not to get her out of bed, but I hate hearingAge-related hearing loss Audiology Hearing loss Hearing or speech impairment - resources her scream like that.. I'm not sure what to do and I feel like we're being mean by telling her to NO and GO TO BED!! I feel like I'm doing the wrong things sometimes..
But...
She won't want to go to bed until around 10:30 or 11:30 at night.. She will sleep on the couch, but will freak out if I take her upstairs for bed... I don't really know how to get her to stop cryingColic and crying Crying in infancy.. I wish she would just go back to how she used to be and I could just lay her down and she'd go to sleep without cryingColic and crying Crying in infancy first.. =/
Maybe you might have some advice for me.. And I know where you're coming from..
Have you had any luck with your grandchild?!
