My daughter is just over 3 and has been potty trained since she was about 20 months. Periodically between then and now she has had set backs: one or two accidents a day for a week or so. But recently she has an accident every time she has to go potty. She'll sprint to the bathroom, but when she's done, I find that her underwear and pants are soaked. She either doesn't make it in time, or she starts wetting her pants, feels it and realizes she needs to be on the toilet, too late, but runs there anyway. She also wets her pants when she's suddenly hurt (a surprising fall) or is surprised (like a loud noise; fireworks, for example). Is there anything wrong with her physically? Should I be medically concerned?
If you are worried by this do discuss it with your Doc. Some children do digress a bit,if they get potty trained early it can happen and it will pass, dont make an issue of it as it will make her anxious, be matter of fact ',and say"accidents do happen'It could be she doesnt make it there on time just let her change and dont concern the more you make of it the more it will become.
