why is my 11 year old son pooping n weeing and doing tics?

Hi i really need some input please as i really dont know what to do anymore, My son has suffered with Tics for quite a few years now, however the past 3  years when the tics start after a week or so he will then get into pooping in his clothes or outside and also he has peed outside the bedroom window he has peed on his floor i just dont know why he does it and when i ask him he says he dont know why he does it, as i explain he should be using the toliet this behaviour with him comes and goes he might not do it for months on end and i feel ok its ok now hes alright but then the tics start and it all starts again with the peeing and pooing i just dont understand whats going on. I am going to get a doctors appointment as he is coming up to his 12th birthday in few months and i just dont feel that this should go on any longer without knowing whats going on. He does get bored easily and last year got expelled for calling a teacher a racist name which he said he didnt know why he did that. He dosent swear at people but he does get easily frustrated his concerntration isnt very good unless he is playing his ps3 he will focus on that for ages as he loves playing it. I just really would love some advice really if thats possible as i really want to understand well try to understand whats going on with him, I feel that whenthe tics go away everythink is fine then it goes back to it again and again. He is a smart boy and is very loved, Plz if you have any ideas throw them my way and thanks.

hey yeh i have a older son who is 13 and he suffers with severe haemophilia A which is a bleeding disorder, my 11 year old fortunatelty dosent have it just has these problems going on. He says he dosent know why he does it thats all the answers i get, i have a appointment for tomorrow with the doctor so im hopeing this is the start of when i can get some answers. He even stole some jewlery from my moms house which is unlike him he says he cant control it and knows hes doing wrong, its like he turns into someone else and then goes back to himself. I feel awlful telling him off for these things but until i know there is a medical problem here what else can i do. I feel he has ADD TICS and summit else just need to get it confirmed as i know he dosent like getting into trouble he just cant help himself do these things when it happens. I really appreciate u taking time out to talk to me about this means alot.

I would say that whilst it may not be anything too worrysome its good to get him seen by the Doctor to see whats going on ,has he any siblings ? when you ask him about the stealing what reason does he give you for doing it ?

hi thnx for replying i am making him a appointment with the doctor in a bit and hopefully he will then get him refered. As for school he seems happy bout it, specially with him doin his football hes well chuffed bout that. He does play out but he also likes his ps3 as he plays online, i just want to get to the bottom of it for his sake so i can understand why he does the things he does. He does also go threw a stage were he steals things and he says he just likes to keep them which obviously this can be like a phone or a camera he has stolen money as well but at the moment biggest problem is the tic and the pooping and weeing, he will do either one then it goes and comes back again with his tic.

I am sorry I can tell how concerned you are for your son, he isnt on any medication then if he has'nt seen the doctor yet ?  How does he get on at school no bullies, has he friends, works well. I see you live in England so you have the national health care service, can you get an appt before his birthday ,there are some thoughts that tics may appear due to allergy also tourettes syndrome, some drugs can cause it,you really need an expert evaluation.Good luck to you its a good idea to get him checked out as you will only be worrying about it ..
