3 and a half year old won't eat meat or vegetables

For the past year and a half my 3 and a half year old sone has been a fussy eater when it comes to dinner - eat spaghetti bolognese for dinner every day - not idea but at least he was getting protein. Now he's decided he doesn't like meat . So he's not eating maet, eggs, fish, cheese - I'm worried about his protein and iron intake - any advice pls?

It is frustrating when your child does not eat well or has no interest in food. Is he still drinking milk and eat yogurt? Suggest replacing his milk at meals/snacks with milkshakes (milk and ice cream blended), or yogurt smoothies (yogurt, fruit, and ice cream) for protein. Recommend giving him a daily children’s chewable multi-vitamin with iron due his eating habits. Try engaging him in the kitchen more. Have him help you with planning and preparation of food, and setting the table. Hopefully this will increase his interest in food. The most important is to relax at meals. If he will not eat a certain food not eat too much, do not make a fuss over it. Let it go and enjoy the meal. Give him the food he likes. Hoped this helped you.
