Eats non-stop

I have a 7 year old daughter who seems to eat around the clock. She likes to eat complete meals (meat, starch, veggies), and often times will eat adult-sized portions. She is very petite and all the food she consumes does not cause her to gain weight.  Her Dr's have told me in the past that she is healthy, and just probably likes to eat, but I sometimes get concerned because she always seems to be hungry.  Could this be a sign of an under-lying problem, or should I just be happy that she is a healthy eater?

Her weight is on the 50th percentile and her height is just below the 25th percentile for her age. She is normal for her age. It is great that she has a healthy appetite. For a 7 year old child, they need about 1800 calories per day to grow. She is probably a very active child and may explain why she wants to eat all the time and does not gain extra weight.
