Effect of alcoholic vapor on a new born

My dad holds my 25 days old baby after consuming alcohol.He has been doing this since her birth.He keeps talking to her in a very close proximity allowing the strong smell of alcohol on her face.I keep worrying whether the continuous smell of alcohol will harm her in any way.Please advise

well i hope i help you with this  my dad used to drink  and when he would hold my son when he was a small baby my sons behaviors changed when being held by some one he didnt want it so i told my dad if you want to hold your grandson you CANNOT have been drinking any thing plus it is dangerous for some one that has been drinking to hold a baby to easy for a trip or a fall with ur baby in there arms even if there sitting down there reflex time is slowed down i would sugest telling your dad you would rather not have him handling your baby while drinking  if he cant understand your concerns well then........ hope this helps
