Failure to thrive

My daughter is 13 months old and has recently been diagnosed with failure to thrive. she had some blood work done and i got a call today with the results...they said something about her alkaline phosphatase and her liver enzymes were high..i done some research on all that and found some possibilities of what could be wrong...but i was just wondering if anyone can tell me what they might know about all this...she has an appointment with a specialist..but that is a month away and i am worrying myself crazy...i am so scared she might have a liver disease because she has alot of symptoms for liver diseases such as clay like stool, fatigue, and the whole failure to thrive thing...if anyone knows anything..plz let me know..it would be greatly appreciated. I suggest you call your MD and speak to them about the lab values to give you some answers and maybe get the Specialist appointment moved up. Raised enzyme liver levels do not tell the whole picture. Until tests are done you really will not know what is wrong. Sorry I could not help you. Best of luck to you and your baby.

forgot to tell u her weight...she weighs 13 lbs and 9 ounces. and is 23 almost 24 inches tall..she was born almost a month early and weighed 4 lbs 11 ounces at birth. she also is not walking yet and only has 2 teeth.....if u need to know anyhting else..just let me know...thanks.
