My daughter is 13 months old and has recently been diagnosed with failure to thrive. she had some blood work done and i got a call today with the results...they said something about her alkaline phosphatase and her liver enzymes were high..i done some research on all that and found some possibilities of what could be wrong...but i was just wondering if anyone can tell me what they might know about all this...she has an appointment with a specialist..but that is a month away and i am worrying myself crazy...i am so scared she might have a liver disease because she has alot of symptoms for liver diseases such as clay like stool, fatigue, and the whole failure to thrive thing...if anyone knows anything..plz let me know..it would be greatly appreciated. Thanl you.
