Kayo syrup should not be added to any child's foods due to the high sugar levels. To help with constipation is to increase their daily fiber in their diet. She is 13 months and should be eating finger foods so give her fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, whole wheat breads and cereals. Maybe lower her milk consummation and replace it with fruited yogurts or puddings. Try to avoid bananas, rice, and applesauce because these foods tend to constipate. Once her constipation is cleared up then these foods can be reintroduced. Hope this helped.
