How do i get my daughter to eat

My 3 year old is a little bounceball she is on her feet from the time she gets up untill the time she goes to bed. U would think that she would be hungry but breakfast and lunch she will just eat a little bit. Dinner is the big stinker . We have to beg her to eat what she got on her plate.Like when we have Hot dogs she eats the hot dog without the bread but she rather would eat the bread then the hot dog and she will take forever to eat the hot dog but when she can have her bread she will have that eaten in 5 minutes. Same last night she had beets and tuna sandwich she ate the beets really quick and took like 45 minutes to eat her tuna sandwich cause she rather wanted some morre beets. i dont know what to do anymore i do not give her any candy she gets fruits for snacks but not right before dinner she drinks a lot of water but that should not be the problmen i even mader her eat in a 30 minute time frame and when she wasnt done she had to get up and not get any more to eat but even that didnt seem to work. She does has some days where we dont have to tell her to eat cause she eats without anybody saying anything but that most days you really have to beg her what can i do to make her eat on her own without telling her. I even have a sticker system everytime she eats she gets one and she enjoys that but still she wont be doing it every night. She is not loosing any weight but it makes me worried cause i would rather see her eat then dont eat.

Her weight is between the 50-25th percentile and her height is between the 10-5th percentile for her age which indicates she is normal. To ‘broaden her tastes’ is to engage her in the kitchen more. Children love to be a part of making food. Have her help you with preparation of food and setting the table. Hopefully this will increase her interest in other types of food. If she likes milk, help her make milkshakes with it (ice cream, fresh fruit or frozen fruit, milk) and then she will have additional calories, protein, and vitamins and minerals. The most important thing is to relax. Mealtimes can be a battlefield when children do not have an interest to eating or eat very little. It becomes the battle of the wits between the child and the parents. Remember meals need to be joyous for parents and the child. If she will not eat a certain food, do not make a fuss over it. Give her some other food alternatives and let her eat what she wants. Then let it go and enjoy the meal. Slowly introduce new foods, and if she does not want it, do not make a fuss over it. Let it go and enjoy the meal. Try again in a few months. If you are concerned about her eating habits, suggest giving her a chewable daily children’s multi-vitamin so she gets nutrients. Hope this helped you.
