Low weight

My daughter is 10 months old and very skinny. I breastfeed her every three hours 10-15 minutes per side. She eats 1/2 cup of cream top whole yogurt, 5 jars homemade organic baby food daily. I add in kiddymins, probiotic, essential fatty acids, and brewers yeast to her food. Is there anything I can do to help her gain weight?!

Her weight is below the 5th percentile and her height is just below the 25th percentile for her age. Have you pumped to check your breast milk production? At 10 months old she does not need to be breast feeding every 3 hours. Guideline for a 9-12 month old child should eat the following: Breast-milk or Formula (6-8oz) 3-5 feedings a day, Dairy 1 serving a day – cheese (1/2 oz) or yogurt (1/2 cup). Starch 2 feedings a day – Infant Cereal (2-4 Tbsp), bread (1/2 slice), crackers (2), or pasta (3-4 Tbsp). Fruits or Vegetables 1-2 feedings a day – (3-4 Tbsp). Meat 2 feedings a day – 3-4 Tbsp) or beans (1/4 cup). This food should be feed 3 meals a day with snacks between the meals. At this age you can give her ‘finger foods’ (regular food cut up in small pieces) to start eating on her own with her fingers. If you are not producing enough breast milk, suggest supplementing the remaining recommended amount with infant formula. Hoped this helped you.

Thanks for replying..Yes, I have checked my milk production and I get 8 oz in ten minutes while pumping. So I know I have more than enough milk. I havent cut her feedings to 3-5 times per day due to her weight.. I dont feel comfortable cutting out feedings while she is so skinny. She does eat all of the recommended servings in all the food groups daily. Except I dont feed her crackers or bread because she hasn't gotten in any teeth yet.  I have tried supplementing with formula but she refuses to take a bottle. Is there any other foods I could feed her to bulk her up?

That is great you have a good breast milk production. Recommend putting her into a routine of eating 3 meals a day and then the feed her the breast milk between meals and at meals in a sippy cup so she eats more at meals. Feed her baby food meats and yogurt at meals, too.
