Weight gain

My son is ADD and has a hard time gaining weight. His Dr.'s say he needs to gain some weight. He is a very picky eater and I want him to gain in a healthy way. What is the best way for him to do this. Is his weight something that I should be really concerned about? He was always a healthy child and was 10 lbs 6 oz at birth.

His weight is just above the 25th percentile and his height is just below the 75th percentile which indicates he is normal for his age. If he likes milk or yogurt, you can make him milkshakes (milk and ice cream blended) or yogurt smoothies (yogurt and ice cream blended) 2x times a day for weight gain. You can add a fruit he likes into the milkshakes, too. He is going into puberty and may start eating more food due to his growth spurt.  Hoped this helped you.
