What can I do to help my child gain weight?

I need your help to achieve my goal in making my daughter gain weight.  My mother is on my tail about how she is concerned for my child and I have to be doing something wrong, and frankly I'm tired of it.  My daughter's Pediatrician says that she is doing just fine. Her vitamin levels were perfect, Iron, No problems anywhere else. She has been on the same curve since she was born. My daughter was born. 5 lbs. 11 oz and 19 in. long.  Everyday I give my daughter A breakfast of eggs and fruits with cereal and a sippy with milk.  For snacks, we do cheeses, yogurt and crackers, fruit bars, and another sippy.  For lunch I mainly give her meats, cheese, veggies and more whole milk.  Dinner she normally eats whatever we're having.. so veggies, starches, cheese, and meats.  My daughter never liked baby food when she was smaller and went straight so chopped up table foods.. She was breast fed until about a month ago, so basically a year, she never would eat from a bottle, just liked sippy cups. I was fairly petite as a baby I was in the 10% for my weight and 90% for height. My husbands family has a history of the same. I have even tried to up my daughters calorie intake and started giving her Pediacare shakes that have lots of vitamins, omega 3 and 240 calories.  I feed my daughter constantly because she always is wanting to eat.. My mom even made her eat all day for like three days and she only gained 2 oz.  I don't know what else to do.. the only thing I don't really give her is sweets and sugars. Plus I try to keep her sodium intake to a minimum.  What can I change?

Both her weight and height are below the 5th percentile for her age, however, she seems to be petite. If your family tends to have smaller stature, as you stated, then it maybe genetic. If her growing curve is steadily increasing, no matter how slowly, then that is what matters. it sounds like she eats all healthy foods, which is great. Suggest giving her Pediasure, or milkshakes (milk and ice cream blended), or yogurt smoothies (yogurt and ice cream blended) in place of milk/fluids at meals and snacks for additional protein/calories. Hoped this helped you.
