If your measurements are correct, her weight is just above the 5th percentile and her height is over the 95th percentile for her age. She is tall so she looks even thinner. She is going into puberty and girls gain more weight with menstruation. Based on her weight / age, she should be consuming approximately 2200 calories per day for her to grow as recommended the following; Fruits = 2 cups; Vegetables 3 cups; Grains (cereals, breads) = 7oz equivalents; Meat & beans = 6oz equivalents; Dairy products (milk, yogurt) = 3 cups; Oils = 6 tsp; Additional calories to be used discretionary = 290. This food needs to be divided up between 3 meals and snacks between meals daily. For additional calories /protein for weight gain suggest giving her milkshakes (milk and ice cream blended), or yogurt smoothies (yogurt, ice cream, or frozen fruit blended) in place of milk at each meal. Hoped this helped you.
