constant eating

my 15 month old son always acts as if he is starving everytime i feed him...he eats anything he wants and is still hungry 10-15 minutes after he has eatin quiet a bit. For breakfast he usually eats 3 whole bananas, a cup of cheerios-or-shredded wheatw/milk, and has a sippy cup full of juice..(between 8am-9am) by 9:30 he wants something else, but i only give him a small amount. He is like this throughout the day. Should i be concerned with his eating habits??

Would you please give me his height and weight (in lbs. or kg) to better assess your question. Thank you.

He is within normal weight and height for his age. I would not be too concerned about his eating habits because his growing. If the eating habits continue like this after 3 years old then I suggest lowering his fat content of the foods he eats. Do not do that before he is 3 years old because he needs the fat for brain development. He may slow down his eating and may become a picky eater around 2. Most children do at that time. Enjoy his good appetite now and hopefully he does not become a picky eater.

his pediatrician told me that he was in the 97th percentile for children of his same age, and to give him less milk and more water and juices throughout the day but i felt that if he wants certain things then i should give him what he wants to eat as long as it's healthy no matter if his weight range isn't what his docs say that it should be, cause i'm going to love him wether is under weight or over .....thank you for your advice, it is greatly appreciated!  :)
