frequent stools

Dear doctor,
                  
               My son (3months old)had diarreah (diarrhea) for 2 weeks and consulted a pead. who advised us with some medicines by which our baby got recovered.But right now(2weeks) he is passing yellow mucousy stool frequently ranging from 6-8 per day.His bottom is sore and cries a lot .He feeds(formula fed) normally and plays normally.My question now is :
1. Is that he has not completely recovered from diarreah (diarrhea)?
2.Can this type of stool be counted as diarreah (diarrhea) or just normal pattern?
3.Can a baby get diarreah (diarrhea) within 2 weeks of recovery from the same?please help us solve this,since we r more worried about the childs health.

Suggest you go back to your MD to have the baby checked. Stool is not usually that color from infant formula.
