gluten in diet and behavior

I have heard alot about a gluten free diet.. My almost 2 year old grandson is very hyperactive and he eats a lot of pasta, it is his favorite food. I am wondering if there is any proof that would indicate that he needs a gluten free diet.
When I say he is hyperactive, I mean that he runs continually, never sits and has a very short attention span compared to the other children in his daycare. I need help...

Gluten free diet is for individuals who are allergic to wheat. Research has shown that a no sugar / dairy diet really has any affect on the behavior of hyperactive children. Treatment is behavioral methods and medications, if necessary. Possibly the Child Behavior Expert Forum may help you.

You honestly need to stop recommending to medicate every child that shows a behavior issue!!!!!!!!!!  You answer every question with "treatment is behavior methods and medications"!  You cannot be serious!  Please get off this forum!!!
