my son stopped eating, when we force him to eat he started crying or vomit. he doesnt show intrest to eat anything since one month ago. before it he ate proper meal lile rice, chapati, vegetables etc.

His weight is just below the 25th percentile and his height is below the 5th percentile. It is frustrating when your child loses interest in food. The most important thing is to RELAX. You do not want mealtimes to be a battle of the wits between your child and you. Remember meals need to be joyous for you and him. Do not force a child to eat and give them the foods they like. Slowly introduce new foods, and if he does not want it, do not make a fuss over it. Let it go and enjoy the meal. If he is drinking milk, suggest giving him Pediasure, milkshakes or smoothies with fruit - milk or yogurt, banana or strawberries (or any type fruit), ice cream for all meals (in place of milk) for additional calories for weight gain.
