My daughter is only 3 years old.She loves fruit and vegetablesVegetable laxative, but her brothers don't like either of them.So you can imagine it's hard to ask her to eat healthy when her older brothers do not.Her brothers are 15,and 13.
Her weight is just below the 75th percentile and her height (if you meant 36 inches) is just below the 25th percentile for her age. If she loves fruit and vegetablesVegetable laxative then suggest she gets them regardless if her brothers do not like them. At 3 years old she seems to wants to eat healthy, which is a good. You can show her how to eat healthy by being the role model not her brothers. If you do not have too much money, suggest buying only foods that are healthy and not 'junk' food. Eat a Heart Healthy diet which means a moderate fat diet to lower the fat content of your foods, increase ‘good’ fats to benefit your body, and cheaper when on a food budget. Moderate fat diet means = use polyunsaturated (omegaOmega-3 Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids Omega-500 3, cornCorns and calluses oil, nuts, etc) fats and monounsaturated (olive oil, canola oil, peanut oil, etc) fats, no saturated fats (high fat snack foods, butter, fat spreads) and no transTrans-ver-sal fats. Eat low fat meats (chicken, fish, loin of pork) or non-meat sources (soy products, nuts), low fat vegetarian combinations (rice & beans, pasta & beans, low fat cheese & pasta), low fat and substitute dairy products (1% milkBreast milk Breast milk jaundice Lactose intolerance Nipple discharge - abnormal, low fat/fat free yogurts, low fat soy milk/soy yogurt), use plant oils, non trans-fat margarines, and eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. Eat daily high fiber breads and cereals (oatmeal). Hoped this helped you.
