height gain for children

by gt1, Feb 04, 2008 05:07AM
MY daughters are 9 and 7 weighing 30 kg & 20 kg respectively , however both are shortest amongst children of their age .Both of them eat well although the younger one is quite lean but are very active and play sports also. They were both 3kg at birth of above average height and we both parents are also tall.Any suggestions for their diet and physical exercise regimen to ensure a good height gain.
thanks,
gt.

Females grow until about 17-18 years old so they have more years to grow so they may grow taller or not. What is important is that they are eating healthy and growing at a steady pace. Some children can be shorter then their parents.
