my baby does not drink enough formula

my baby does not drink enough formula

Hi'
my baby is nine months old, he was born with birth weight of 2.5kgs. I breastfed him from birth to six months but introduced formula at 3months. I am worried cause he is not keen to drink his milk, he was not even interested in breastfeeding. Iam worried about his health. He will feed at most 440ml per day of formula most at night. Is he getting enough? what can I try?

I have changed to different formulas, even nicer ones it doesn't work. He likes drinking water.

Please help!!!!

His weight is just below the 50th percentile which is normal for his age. Suggest giving him the formula in the ‘sippy’ cup at meals and see if he accepts it. At that age you can start with finger foods and he can feed himself with his fingers. Guideline for a 9-12 month old child should eat the following: Breast-milk or Formula (6-8oz*) 3-5 feedings a day, Dairy 1 serving a day – cheese (1/2 oz) or yogurt (1/2 cup). Starch 2 feedings a day – Infant Cereal (2-4 Tbsp), bread (1/2 slice), crackers (2), or pasta (3-4 Tbsp). Fruits or Vegetables 1-2 feedings a day – (3-4 Tbsp). Meat 2 feedings a day – 3-4 Tbsp) or beans (1/4 cup). This food should be feed 3 meals a day with snacks between the meals. *1oz = 30ml
