runny stool

runny stool

I have a 20 month old son who for the past couple weeks has had kind of loose stool, normal in color but is loose like it used to be in a patty and is now all over diaper. a few days now it has been more frequent stools as well. from 2 a day to about 4 a day. He does have a mouth full of teeth, might be getting in his back molars, hard to tell and he is very overly hyper toddler.(gives doctors a big challenge to check him out for routine exams). He is still eating and drinking.very happy, playful hyper self. he eats solid foods but we are still working on eating habits as he will eat meat, chicken, applesauce, bananas, baby cereal, cream of wheat, graham crackers, cheese(little bit),yogurt, peaches, pears, broccoli. I give him 2 ounces of juice watered down with about 2 ounces water and then water rest of day. Milk and lactaid and silk all congest him causing him to vomit. has been on soy formula as well for this reason.dr recommended. Please help me just try to ease my mind what may be causing this. physicians(3 different ones now seem to not know and have a hard time examining him as very hyper.)thanks,Amber  should i be concerned?

His weight is just below the 25th percentile and his height is above 95th percentile for his age. From what you wrote he does not tolerate dairy products, suggest stopping yogurt and cheese and see if the stool is not as loose and less often. If no change, then have him checked by his MD. For a 20 month old child infant formula does not give him the nutrients he needs. Suggest using soy milk or rice milk.
