very worried mom

my son is going to be 1 on thursday. he s a very active baby. he played all day today then i was feeding him his bottle because it was time for bed. he had drank about 4 ounces and then he puked. i was cleaning him up, and noticed that a little bit of the puke looked yellow like the color of an egg yolk. i let his stomach calm down and he ate and fell asleep. an hour later, he woke up crying and puked again. after he puked he was fine again from what i saw and he fell asleep. its now been 2 hours since he puked and hes been asleep ever since and hasn't done it since. he also seemed to be a little gassy and i noticed a diaper rash on him earlier also. im just curious as to if it could be a food allergy, or if he is getting sick. also sometimes when he eats he will puke. never puke then an hour later do it again but usually just once. it isn't an every day occurence but it does happen once a week at least. i am curious as to what is causing this? and if the episode tonight it an allergy or if he is getting sick and is the yellow i saw in his puke normal?

If it is happening once a week, then suggest bringing him to his doctor to get checked for the vomiting. The yellow color could be some content of the stomach. If he had an allergy, then he would be having a reaction all the time to the bottle, not once a week.
