His weight is on the 5th percentile and his height is on the 25th percentile for his age. He is still on the growth Chart, which is good. Suggest drinking either nutrient dense drinks (in addition to eating meals) such as ensure or make your own milkshakes - soy yogurt, soy milk, and frozen fruit blended together; or milk, ice cream, and frozen fruit blended together for extra calories, protein and nutrients to help increase his weight.  Some tips for additional calories: If he likes pasta, then add meat or cream sauces to the pasta instead of plain tomato sauce or plain pasta. Add dry milk to oatmeal, mashed potatoes, gravies, creamed vegetables, and creamed soups (add additional meats to soups). Use all fat dairy products and no low fat foods so he has the calories he needs. As he gain weight after a few years, then you can go to lower fat dairy items. Hoped this helped you.
