Cloacal Exstrophy

My daughter-in-law is pregnant and my unborn grandchild has recently been diagnosed with Cloacal Exstrophy.  I've only read a little about this condition, I'm looking for personal information.  If you have any information to share about what we can expect, please share..... my grandbaby is due to be born in November 2009.

I realize you posted a while ago, so my response is probably a little late. How is your daughter-in-law and your Grandbaby? Did the pregnancy go smoothly? I am interested to know about your new grandson as I am doing some research into the effects of some fertility drugs on unborn babies. Clomid is one of them, and a recent study published has linked the fertility drug with conditions like cloacal exstrophy in babies born to mothers who took the drug. If your daughter did take Clomid I would be very interested to hear from her.
