advice...Cortical Dysplasia w/ cerebral palsy.

My son is going to be two this month. He was diagnosed with cortical dysplasia in march (he has two dead spots on the left side of his brain). He also has hemiplegic infantile cerebral palsy. The doctors have all told me that he is doing amazing considering his diagnosis but they're not sure on what the future holds for him. I was wondering if there were any parents out there that has a child with the same conditions and they had any words of advice...we have him in O.T ,P.T and speech. He hasnt had any noted seizures but they say that he will have them. Now we're playing a waiting game.

I know its hard to play the waiting game...but hang in there....You are doing good just make sure he gets all the therapies he needs....If your not happy with an answer get another....Remember its a diagnose but its still your baby....Best of luck
