sleep behavior

My 2 and a half year old puts her hands and forearms all over my face when im laying her down to sleep. I asked her speech therapist about this behavior, but she had no answer for this.  I sleep with her in the same bed. due to no extra room. Its a bit annoying andi think its very strange. Its like all over my face her hands rubbing her arms over my lips and nose and eyes ..I mean all over . Why does she do this And what can i do to stop her?

I'm no expert and this is just my opinion. It sounds like it's your daughters way of making sure your right there when she sleeps. Has it progressively gotten worse? What happens when you get up?, Does she stay asleep or wake up? You said space was an issue, but  I think you should really find a way to separate yourself from her during sleep time. Have you tried giving her a plush animal to sleep with or doll?
