Allergy skin test on 3yr old..

My 3yr. had a skin allergy test done 3 days ago, come to find out she was allergic to ALOT of things. outdoor, indoor and food. It took 30mins to perform because after the 1st 15mins the test showed she was allergic to everything, so we waited 20 more mins to find the really bad ones. Now after 3 days have pasted she still has some marks where the test was performed and has a really bad cold or reaction to the test. Symptoms are runny nose, cough, sneezing, water eyes and fever (99.1 to 102). Is this common for a child or person to have these reactions after 3days have pasted?

Hello,

No not common to still have the reaction to the test.  Please contact your doctor and let him/her know.  Maybe she needs some treatment to calm things down.

Maybe blood testing for allergies will be better.  Would not be good to do skin testing on her again, with this reaction.

You will need to work to avoid the major allergens (particularly food ones).
