Daughter with Blue Lips

Daughter with Blue Lips

My daughter is 15 months and keeps waking up from her naps with VERY blue lips and a low body temp of 94 rectal.  I Have taken her to the dr they did labs, ekg and echo everything looks okay.  Lymphocytes were 9,0 and monocytes were 0.0 and platelet count was 187. Why does this keep happening?  I am very worried. Any ideas? I need some answers and noone has been able to help!

My son is allergic to dairy. He had many many symptoms and I didn't put them together for a long time. His reaction is 4 hours later. He goes into extreme pain, he sweats, but he says he is cold. His lip would be full of sweat, but I'd touch his hands and feet and they were cold. Eventually I started taking his temp. and it would be at 97 degrees, I thought my thermometer was broken. I took him to the doctor MANY times, and was told he was fine, most of the time. Then we figured out it was dairy causing all his symptoms, and life has changed for the better. And it was something so simple. We have to read ALL ingredients, and he does occasionally he still does get a reaction from time to time from cross contamination. It might be worth a try.

My daughter 15 month old had the same thing but it happened 3 times one day. The doc said she was fine which I do not believe. So I got a second opinion from my natural path... I read story after story of all the same stuff and dr.'s and hospitals not knowing what it is. So my baby has a blocked kidney from tons of fruit. She drinks fruit juice all day and is a picky eater so I just feed her different kinds of fruit for snacks. Well it being blocked has caused trouble with her circulation. Treatment for her was to water down her juice or give her more water with a drop or two of lenon or lime juice. I'm not sure if it will work for you but my baby is not turning blue anymore!

Hi. This is definitely not normal. I would ask your pediatrician for a pediatric pulomonologist referral. It sounds like something may be happening with her oxygen saturation level when she sleeps. The pulmonologist can do a sleep study on your daughter, where they can monitor her breathing and oxygen saturation, as well as other vitals when she sleeps. There are sleep disorders that can cause oxygen saturation levels and/or breathing issues, and it should be ruled out. Hope this helps.
