Dog/Cat Dander and Twins Rast numbers

Hello...I am the proud fater of identical twin girls that are about 4.5 months old.  They had developed a rash when about 2 months old or a little older and was told by Dr. that is is eczema.  After ongoing battlew with this and itchy eyes we were referred to an allergist who performed a Rast test on both girls.  We just got the results back and were happy to know what was causing the issues, but were sad to see that it was due to them being allergic to dog and cat dander.  We have both a dog and a cat that are deeply loved members of the family.  We are working now to do a MAJOR cleaning on the rooms that the babies sleep in and have went out and purchased a new Dyson Animal Vacuum that we will be using daily.  I have replace the furnace filter with a hypoallerginic filter and have turned the furnace fan on to run at all times.  The babies never leave the house so they are exposed to it 24/7.  Their numbers from the Rast test did not seem too high to me but I have nothing to compare them to so that is where i was hoping for some help...Kendalls dog dander number was 0.38 and 1.06 for cat dander.  Carleys Dog Dander number was 4.11 and Cat Dander was 1.75.  These were the only things on the rast test that were al all elevated...everything else was listed as <.35   Kendall has flair ups and is controllable by using 1% Hydrocotosone cream.  Carley has it a little worse and gets the itchy eyes when she wakes up and has more areas of rash on her face and throughout her body.  Does it seem realistic that we will be able to control this by heaving vacuuming/cleaning, keeping the animals out of the sleep rooms etc?  Winter is here as well and I would think this would get better come the summer months when we can get them out of the house and also open the windows etc...We dearly dearly love out pets and are hoping to find a solution...any help or comments are greatly appreciated.
