Eczema

My Baby girl has been diagnosed w Atopic Dermatitis... She is 6 months old and has been covered from head to toe since 2 months. She's been to a Hollistic Allergist and we found out she is sensitive to all milk and soy protiens, polyester, rice and all the vaccines we gave her at 2-4-6 months.
The doc perscribed her cortisone 2.5 for the body and 1% for the face- if I stop treatment it comes back raging in a day!! Does anyone have any advice on this matter? I can't keep putting cortisone on her poor lil body b/e of the harm it may cause but i have tried anything and everything herbal and NOTHING is helping!!
Someone please help me!!!

I hear your pain for your daughter.  My neice born in 09 also had this same plight, and it was an uphill battle too.  The topical ointment IS what works!  We were careful to ensure we only used Dermatology tests baby wash etc, no detergents or sensative skin laundry detergent, diapers that are cotton based, and cotton clothing.  My neice is now just over a year and finally is improving....so there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
