Lactose Intolerant???

We are trying to figure out if my 18month old son is allergic to milk.  We put him on lactaid milk for at least 1 month.  The reason was his stools were very runny! Things seemed to be fine.  On thurday we tried going back to regular lmilk and he was fine until about monday.  ON monday he developed some sort of hives on his torso, 100.8 fever, has been crying since then. He has not been himslf.  Lethargic, wont eat, cries all the time, green poop! I took him to the pediatrician and ent dr on tuesday, they said all was good.  He already has tubes for many ear infections.  Please help!!!!!

Hi.My son is 8 mo old and he has runny green,mucusy stools,red bumps all over his body.The DR thinks that is milk allergies.We are not feeding him any dairy anymore and he improved a lot.I read also that children with allergies have many ear infections.
Try not feeding him dairy for a month than introduce them 4 days and see his reaction.Dairy free means you have to read the labels all the time,some of the foods hide their milk content under words like casein,caseinate and many others.TRy soy instead ,many kids with milk allergy have soy allergy ,too.Or you can buy NEOCATE a formula without milk.
Allergies are responsible for behavior changes ,they are hard to discover even with tests[skin or IGG]My son had a colonoscopy at 8 mo because of them.I don't know about the fever.
