Please Help So Confused

My 3 year old has been prescribed singulair for allergies and possible asthma.He has been on and off abuterol treatments every since i can remember and in and out of the hospital twice from breathing problems.Im just looking for some info on singulair after reading the sideaffects im not sure if i should continue giving it to him or not.Any advice would be helpful.

Well, it sounds like you want someone to tell you not to give your child the medicine.  That is always your perogative.  Keep in mind though that many people have found significant relief of allergic asthma using the medication with NONE of the side effects listed.  

Ultimately the choice is always yours.  You have to do what you believe is best for you child.

Thanks, but really im looking for someone to tell me to give my son this med. So many have warned against it and the benifits sound so great I just wish I could hear something good about it,someones success story or something.

My son is on Singular for about 5 years now. his asthma dicreased a lot. I tried to stop Singular couple times, but every time he developed Asthma after couple days of not taking his medication.
